Ten style tips for moody days
Everyone has one of these days were we have no idea what to wear. Whether it be a bad morning, sick days or decision fatigue that causes it; when things need to be done and you have to get dressed, looking for an outfit through that stress can be more draining. Lucky for you today I have compiled ten of the tips I use for such days.
No1: prepare outfits in advance.
On many so such days, we are looking for clothes that both comfortable and stylish. We want to uplift our mood hence using visual appeal of beautiful clothes to uplift your mood and comfort will come with texture of the fabric and the space between your body and the garment.
So with that in mind, prepare approximately three outfits that are stretchy and fitted. The desire to just hide in your clothes will be really high so give your body some space to breathe but doesn't hide your figure.
No2. Wear your best colour and/or favourite colour.
Colour plays a big role on how you feel so you that to your advantage by choosing and outfit by how you feel or want to feel.
Wearing colours that suit your complexion,your favourite colour and or even your happy colour if you have one; this might brighten your day and reduce some of that mental tension.
No3. Launge wear that doesn't look like tracksuits
Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with such launge wear but if cannot be the answer to every undicided day. Look fo variation on cut, colours and prints, siluet, and fabric.
No4. monochromatic outfits
This goes without saying. It's away to pull off and stress free.
No5. opt for a dress
Wrap dress, shirt dress, pension dress or any dress that is flattering on your body is the best option. It takes the stress off looking for clothes and creates an instant beautiful look.
No6. Elevated shoes doesn't mean heels.
What ever the occasion is there is a substitute for your high heels. So for when you're feeling under the weather opt for those.
No7. no tight clothes or stiff fabric.
It just helps. I don't know how but it does. Maybe it's just the way the flowy fabric moves that lightens up your mood.
No8. Perfume &. Accessories.
This simple jus elevates your most basic outfits, and works well with our next tip. Having your nails done and or clean is also a plus.
No9. Simplify your outfits
Choosing clothes that fit you well and are in good condition is the way to go. Choose an outfit that is basic but can be dressed up or down.
No10. No prep.
This goes without saying. Have fabrics that does not require ironing or steaming, such fabrics are more often wrinkle resistant. You might find this in synthetic fibres blends or wool but it better to have in hand for just in case.
Bonus tip: don't stress.
When things are tough, what you wear should not have to more stress in your life. So wear your best clothes and give your self time and enjoy the not so perfect days too and let God be in control, he wi put all things in order.
